I limited the roll bar to behind the front seats to keep it street legal. No bars between the hoop legs so I can slide the seats right back. I would add more bars for bracing it up and mounting the harnesses etc if I was building it as a welded in half cage. Once you start down that path, no telling where I will stop. I'm happy with this for now.
Are you doing anything with the cage forward from the front seats? Or cross bracing the main hoop at about floor level?
