SR20 ENGINE MOUNTS
We have just finished a limited run of engine mounts for SR20 in S-Chassis. The first set are going out to support this freshly built VET setup. They come with stiff Nolathane bushes. Track tested. Huge reduction in engine movement. Much more direct feel on acceleration. Helps reduce miss shifts by holding the engine steady. Make installing the engine easier as they rotate. Plus they are far less bulky that the original factory rubber bushes, meaning more space to get your hands in and around things. Contact mattsterne@gmail.com if you're after a set. Standard finishes are black, silver, clear coated or raw steel. We can custom make a set of these to suit any car and motor combination... Mazda, Nissan, Toyota, RB, VG, 1J, 2J, C33, RX7, R32, R33, R34 etc. or even your 4X4.
TUBE NOTCHER // VERSION 1
The tube notcher is complete and works well. I have some ideas fer version 2 which will increase the clamping system and stability of the pivot. But for now it does the job.
BOLT IN CAGES // MAKING CONNECTIONS
PRESS // BUILD
The beginnings of the hydraulic shop press build up. The frame is built from 150 x 75mm PFC with 100 x 5mm SHS spacers for the deck and 60 x 5 angle for the legs. The deck pins are 25mm solid stainless steel rod, and the heel blocks are 30mm steel plate. Plan is to use the 20 ton bottle jack that I have here for now with the ability to modify the upper 30mm thick steel plate to accept a 50 ton hydraulic ram in the future if required, so I have build the frame stronger than initially required with this in mind. Next step is to build the bottle jack support with guide system to keep it tracking vertically.
